Yann and the best dressed Arsenal supporter in Kyabirwa. David is in Primary 5 and being supported by Moses after his father died. David lives between Moses's house and his mother's, five minutes walk away.

Yann and Winnie. The most georgous six year old in Primary 1. Moses adopted Winnie as his daughter a couple of years ago after her parents, relatives of his, both died.

The irrepressible Daniel. Four years old and just delicious.

Moses, teacher, publican, local leader and father to his four natural and three adopted children.

Me and the boys, Danny and David.

Moses's compound. On the left is the kitchen where Florence cooks all the family meals on an open fire. In front is the building Moses constructed to house some of his family and volunteers who come to work at the school. My home for my first month in Uganda.

The main house and verandah where we eat lunch every day. The building in the middle is a store room/chicken house..

Lydia, Dan, Maureen and Winnie. Maureen is Moses's oldest child and now away at boarding school. I took this photo at the end of the long school holiday, a couple of days later the kids all had their heads shaved ready for the start of term.

Winnie, Lydia, Dan and John in new jumpers.. determined to wear their new clothes despite the fact it was 35 degrees and humid..
The day I decided Dan was just too georgous to put down, even when he fell asleep.

Lydia trying out long hair...

David, Moses, Winnie, Isaac, me and Dan - the family at lunch..
